I am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder of Quality German Shepherd Puppies & Whippet Puppies.
My Kennel name of Ashvillebur was established in 1981. Although I had a couple of litters in the late 70's.
We are a small hobby kennel, breeding only three or four litters maximum in 12mths, between the two breeds. All our dogs are 1st & foremost family members & live indoors with the family, although I do use my kennels at certain times for the german shepherds & older puppies. We have heating in our cosy kennels if needed.
Our dogs are healthy, sound & have good temperament & character. We practice high breeding standards. Our adult German Shepherds & Whippets are equally loved & stay with us for their lifetime, although my daughter sometimes has one of the older GSD's to live with her. Our German Shepherd & Whippet puppies are all Kennel Club Registered, insured, wormed & vet checked.They leave with written comprehensive information on diet, training, health etc

Above is a longcoat sable puppy, below is a standard coat black & gold bitch 6wks old.
We breed Black & Gold & Sable German Shepherd puppies, both standard coat & longcoats, from parents with good hip scores below the BVA/KC national average. German Shepherd puppy sires are also tested clear for Haemophilia A.
We breed for family pets, not for the show ring. They will enjoy obedience, agility etc.

Our Whippets
We breed mainly fawn Whippets, with some fawn & white particolour. Some puppies have potential show quality.However they must be family pets first & foremost. They have excellent temperament.
Our Adult Whippets have very outgoing, affectionate, gentle friendly characters. We aim for correct size & quality.
