We will miss Kiri very much
Kiri has a lovely temperament, but does like to lick rather too much!!. Kiri is very loyal & very keen to please. Kiri is bouncy when out playing off lead, she is energetic, fast & enthusiastic, loves her ball, extremely focused on it.Very agile.She has a strong character & a lot of strength.
Kiri is a very biddable dog, wonderful to live with, calm & quiet when taken out on a lead walk, a pleasure to take anywhere, well behaved on & off the lead.Stays close & stays focused on a ball & me, Very responsive & easy to train.
Kiri is good with other dogs & loves children. She is quite dominant with her home housemates & definately top dog, likes to claim all the balls as hers if she can, even managing to hold two large balls at once, but never aggresive or bossy. She is not a noisy dog. Kiri has endless energy when out, but settles well in the house or kennel. Very loyal to her home & me.
Kiri has strong working lines within her pedigree. Her sire is from full german working lines. She has quite a straight back, short coat, lacking angulation due to her working lines.
She has very good pigment & colour & excellent hip & elbow scores of course, as can be seen above.
She achieved her Bronze Good Citizen Award March 9th 2011 & Silver March 30th 2011, at 7 mths old, I should have continued! It was always commented on how very calm she was at dog training & quick to learn & did anything asked of her, with all attention on me.
Kiri is extremely intelligent, her puppies are best suited to knowledgable family homes where they are shown strong leadership & given time for training, as do most German Shepherds. They would also suit agility, working trials or obedience as Kiri is extremely agile & can jump with ease Her puppies will benefit with lots of human companionship, ball games & stimulation.Her puppies have all made lovely family pets, but will happily walk all day if you want them to.Kiri's offspring are lively, energetic & enthusiastic.
We have Kiri's gorgeous daughter Darcey to continue the line.
